The Big Twenty Fourteen...

Looking back now, this year I had the greatest privilege to do the things that I wanted to do. I have met many like-minded people who inspired me to go further. I also met people who have contrasting idealism to what I believe and yet was able to agree on things.

This year I am blessed. I don't know if I deserved it, but I am very thankful for God's blessings.

Things led to one another while I was being open to new possibilities. I was invited by my close friend to climb the 2nd (or 3rd) highest mountain in the Philippines, Mt. Pulag, and things took off! This was on March 22 via the Ambaneg Trail.

Here's my article: Return to the Playgrounds of Gods
and another: Mt. Pulag 2014

Next thing I knew, the following month on April 13, I climbed Mt. Batulao, located in Nasugbu, Batangas.

and the Return: Return To Mt. Batulao

Not long after, I was invited again by these outgoing and gregarious people to trek the Tinipak River located in Brgy. Daraitan, Tanay, Rizal on April 26.

Then came our Batch reunion, CICS/SCIS 2008-2011, in Puerto Galera dated May 17. The sun, the sea, the corals and the people were amazing. I had a blast being dragged by a small boat whilst snorkelling and feeding the fishes in this marine ecosystem.

Soon after that, on the 7th of June, I climbed the picturesque Mt. Maculot and its Rockies. It was my hardest climbed to that date. All assault climbs!

I just can't get enough of Mt. Batulao so on June 22, the Return to Mt. Batulao happened. Unlike popular beliefs, returning to a place you have visited before, for me is never the SAME! The people changes, the experiences changes, the environment  changes and of course, you yourself changes.

This also inspired me to create a video for that hike, here's the link: Trip Lang sa Batulao

Looking for close encounter near Manila, on August 31, we found Norzagaray BulacanWho’ve thought, a Lion and Rhino exist just outside Metro Manila! Yeah you read it right. Lioness and a Rhinoceros Rock formation are found in Bigte Norzagaray Bulacan.

Time to pause from all the Mountains, so on September 25, an opportunity to see white beaches arrived and i grabbed it without qualms! I had the privilege to re experience the Island time! I had to write what to do when you come back to this island paradise of Boracay.

An excerpt to the next travel I had:
I don’t know where to start.
I am completely dumbfounded and utterly clueless how to blog my experience in climbing Parrot’s Peak a.k.a Mt. Pico De Loro.
What I can tell point blank; It’s my hardest climb to-date!

The following Month, November 29, we had our KKB(kanya kanyang bayad) Team building with my officemates in Los Banos, Laguna. 3rd Falls to discover: Dampalit Falls
