Boracay for the 3rd time: 7 Stones Boracay and Box & Ladder Hostel

After our rowdy attendance in Ati Atihan, we opted to continue the party in the World's Best Island: Boracay!

Third time at the World' Best Island: Boracay

There were so much change that I did not recognize the Boracay I first laid eyes on way back 2013 - 2014. The port was more secure and well established, better logistics on transportation and most of all convenient with Caticlan Airport or the Godofredo P. Ramos Airport near the port.

Am I in an Airport? This is Caticlan Port

Southwest Travel and Tours Pump Boats
Few years back, I only saw mix foreigners but now, group tours of Chinese nationals and Koreans compete for dominance in populating the island. No harsh feelings there since they are the main source of money in making the island what it is today, booming tourism and better amenities for all. I felt I was a foreigner in my own country, a nice experience and somewhat trivial.

Where to stay:

For budget traveller like me, hostels and home stays are your staple accommodation. A new found hostel we stayed in was Box & Ladder Hostel. Located near the D' Mall, you can access all the nearest go to places. Better have light bags as you need to take the stairs going up the 4th floor where the lobby is found.

Pretty cosy, small yet unique experience. You have lockers for yourself but bring your own locks. Above the dorm is the roof deck lounge with both indoor and outdoor areas. You guessed it, it has wifi. All the dorms and rooms have no internet access so you need to go up and be with the other guest to connect to the internet.
Your own "Box"
At 400 per person with free breakfast, it's a cool and affordable place to stay.

7 Stones Boracay

For people you just don't care about spending money, then 7 Stones Boracay is for you! The rooms are spacious, the pool is gorgeous and you are facing the ever action pack Bulabog beach.

This time around, I only have limited time as we made Boracay a one night stand err stay. We partied at EPIC Boracay until dawn then head back to Box and Ladder for a night rest. See my Featured IG Stories for the happenings that night or even to @jbrayos IG Stories. It was EPIC

Next day we just dipped at the ever glorious White Beach Boracay, met up with Potpot of traveltrilogy.com who stayed at 7 Stones Boracay and had photo shoots with him. We only had a couple of hours before heading back to Caticlan and make our way to Iloilo City where we will end our Journey for the Ati Atihan Festival Experience 2018!
