Singapore’s skyline is a breathtaking sight, made up of magnificent skyscrapers that leave you admiring the great architectural minds behind the mammoth buildings. With the sun starting to set at the horizon, you would not be at a better place than at one of the rooftop bars with great views of the city, enjoying the beauty of the city-state, while imbibing your favorite drink. When planning your visit to Singapore, especially if you are an entrepreneur or a manager of a business thinking of relocating your business to the global economic hub, engage the services of Visa Express for all your travel documents, especially the Entrepreneur Pass (EntrePass).

Here are some rooftop bars, and bars with a view, that you should check out once in Singapore.

Hi-So

This bar is atop a spectacularly restored heritage building, currently the SO Sofitel Singapore. This bar takes drinking and city-viewing to a whole new level and is among the best places to relax you end your day. At the Hi-So, you get the feeling of a poolside decadence due to the view of the surrounding skyscrapers. This feeling is further enhanced by the Palm Beach and the cabanas around the vast gold-tiled pool. The revelers that frequent this bar over the weekdays include cosmopolitan urban workers and some art lovers. During the weekends, there are merrymakers of different nationalities, giving it an international feel. On the offerings, is the mean mojito – a drink from their resident mixologist. For food, grab a bite at the nearby Lau Pa Sat hawker center as food is limited at the bar. There are drink deals and pool parties almost every night.

This bar seemingly balances on the ‘bow’ of the very famous Marina Bay Sands Hotel. It is the most talked-about bar in Singapore, so you visit and witness its fame firsthand. The extensive views over Marina Bay are the biggest thing to look forward to. They offer some great cocktails and have a big spirits menu with a lovely whiskey selection. You should not be in your shorts or flip-flops as you take your favorite drink here. Also, tank-tops are discouraged. You will need to dress up attractively.

Smoke and Mirrors

On top of the famous National Gallery is the awesome Smoke and Mirrors. It offers you a wide view, covering some very great buildings and structures – Padang, Esplanade, and Theatres on the Bay. You can also get a good view of Fullerton Hotel, the ArtScience Museum, Singapore Flyer, and the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Due to its location in a gallery, the partygoers here are okay dressed in smart casual, with some artistic touch. However, flip-flops and sandals are the last things you should be spotted donning while here. Cocktails are impressive at the Smoke and Mirrors, and there is some mouthwatering food such as the irresistible crunchy fish skin with salt and spices.

Level 33

The bar boasts of being among the globe’s greatest urban craft brewery. You get to catch a good view of central Singapore. You need to be in urban-cool dress code. A jacket and tie are not necessary. On the menus are their well-crafted brews, and the bites are also great to match the drinks. There is a good selection of wines for those who do not care much for beer. You need to be at the bar by 6 pm to get yourself a seat and see the skyline as it sparkles to life.
